_Personal Accountability | Your invisible twin
_
Personal accountability - Trying to find your way to success?
Personal accountability can be that missing arsenal in your toolbox.
Let me ask you this……
Do you find yourself constantly starting and stopping things?
Most of us starts out the gate quick!
We have are game plan together and off to the races we go……
And here comes the evil twin (his name is distractions) of personal accountability preventing us to where we are trying to get to.
All my life I just wanted to be successful in my business endeavors,
but I always got distracted by someone or something.
This made me blame the business I was in or the program I was doing
trying to get in shape.
Aggg! This doesn’t work because I tried it for a whole month (not to
mentioned I was only participating in it once or twice a week and
expecting the results of someone that was working it more hours
than I was.)
Silly me right?
Sometimes we get lazy in the fact that everyone and everything else
is holding us accountable.
Your job is holding you accountable.
They expect you to be at work at a certain time and perform
the tasks at hand the position that you are in.
You see psychologically parameters are set when we are at a job
or performing certain activities.
You know……… to be at work at a certain time or deal
with the consequences.
Well……
With personal accountability you have to do the same
thing, however; you have to set your own parameters.
The personal accountability gods says read that four
more times to let it sink in.
That’s the disconnect most of us have, not setting are own
parameters.
When dealing with ourselves its easy to shrug things off
and say I will do it later.
Guess when later comes…….
Much latter.
So much in fact it might be much, much later.
So let’s go over couple of solutions so we can defeat Distracto!
(personal accountability evil twin)
Get a little notepad (the real little ones that you can hold in one hand)
or whatever you want to use I know these days people have smartphones.
Whatever you are trying to get accomplish write in the notepad
four to five things that that you HAVE to do before you
lay your head down on the pillow for the night.
You have to make this an urgency inside you!
You got to say to yourself I cannot go to bed unless I
do these four to five things.
But keep in mind it can be the simplest of things like…..
I have to go over my business plan one more time
or
I have to do my last exercise that I didn’t do for the day.
I hope you get the point here….
Trust me it works because I do it.
Also, have a daily mode of operations for yourself in
what you are trying to get accomplished.
Jobs have daily mode of operations for you, so
you should to.
This you can do by…..
writing it down
having a voice recorder
have reminders sent to your phone.
My point is WHATEVER it takes to build up your
personal accountability.
Now are you ready?
Go out there and be famous!
These two guys took on personal accountability and look
where it got them. Seriously!
